"I wonder what's in a book while it's closed. I know it's full of letters printed on paper, but [..] something must be happening, because as soon as I open it, there's a whole story with people I don't know yet and all kinds of adventures and battles."

Could you give me the recipe?
:iconah-grasshopper:
it's a chocolate sponge, baked in 2 different sized pudding basins, you can either make it from scratch or use sponge mix, if you make it from scratch, you'll need (for 2 basins) 14 ounces self raising flour, 8 ounces of butter,8 ounces of caster sugar, 2 ounces cocoa powder, 6 large eggs, 2 teaspoons of baking powder, sieve the flour and baking powder and cocoa powder together in another bowl and also beat the eggs, again in another bowl, then you put the butter and sugar in a mixing bowl, and beat until light and fluffy (it will get lighter in colour too) then add a little beaten egg and sieved flour alternately until it has been absorbed, it should drop off the spoon without tapping, if it doesn't then add a little milk to slacken the mix, then divide between 2 different sized basins and bake in a medium oven gas mark 5 should do it, when cool, tip out onto cooling rack, and repeat so you'll have 4 cakes in all, you then make butter icing by beating butter and icing sugar (you'll need a lot of this!) sandwich the 2 small and then the 2 larger sponges together with butter icing to form the body and head (2 ball shapes) then put them together to form the basic owl shape then smother it with icing, making the ears with extra thick icing! make up a little lighter icing for the belly and face, smooth with a knife.
for the feathers: break up about 10 Cadbury's Flake chocolate bars and starting from the bottom, place the broken chocolate to look like feathers! use smarties for eyes and a brazil nut for the beak! and that is all there is to it. ok my love good luck :D
